Background
Due to poor sanitation standards of traditional techniques, babies develop numerous diseases ranging from rashes to serious infections that are often life threatening. And diapers are not available in all parts of the country also foreign brands are just as expensive. Furthermore, we realized the absence of a domestic brand that could fit the requirement of a local lifestyle. So, we designed and developed Sagun Baby Poko Pants at an affordable price and are readily available.
History
We ventured into the world of business in the year of 1996 from a small retail store under the name Nava Durga Enterprises in the Far Western district of Kailali. In the year 2004, under the name Parvati Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd we produced and distributed different food materials starting from Chiura (Beaten Rice) Mill, Rice Mill, Edible Oil Mill and Soybean Mill. We are proud to have served people from different walks of life. In the meantime, we have always believed in the motto ‘Quality beats Quantity’.
After working in the food production and supply industry we realized we could contribute the country by working in the health sector. We began research and development of AG Health Industries Pvt. Ltd from the year 2015 to serve and develop health sector. At present we are producing pull up diapers under the brand name- ‘Sagun Baby Poko Pants’.
AG Health Industries uses state of the art Chinese technology to produce high quality health products at cheap price. The company provides employment to nearly 500 Nepali nationals across the country. We plan to extend the facility to produce high quality sanitary pads by the end of 2019. In the near future, we plan to make country self-dependent on diaper and sanitary pad demands.
